Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. She is the daughter of Peter Silk - an academic - and Ilkay Silk, a gifted actress who is also a director, writer and producer. Anna Silk is child of a Briton, and an Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. As a child, she played in commercials for a number of companies. Anna relocated to Toronto for her acting to grow. The actress later moved to Los Angeles.
