
Eliza Kate Coupe, born April 6, 1981, [1] in the US, is an American comedian and actress. She is famous for her character of Jane Kerkovich Williams in ABC's comedy series Happy Endings, Denise Mahoney and Hannah Wyland on Quantico. She was a mainstay in the Fox comedy series 2022 Pivoting. She was recently an supporting character in the Netflix series Murderville episode-Who Killed Santa. Coupe studied improvisational comedy at The Groundlings as well as ImprovOlympic. Coupe traveled to France in 2003 to play a soldier in an all-female King Lear version. The one-woman sketch show she performed, The Patriots, premiered in New York's Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre on November 5 in 2005. Between April 2011 and May 2013 Coupe was a part of the ABC ensemble comedy show Happy Endings alongside Elisha Cuthbert, Zachary Knighton, Adam Pally, Damon Wayans, Jr. and Casey Wilson. After the show's third season was over, ABC cancelled the show despite the critical acclaim. Happy Endings was cancelled. She appeared in a regular role on House of Lies's third season. She as well as starred with Jay Harrington in Benched, the comedy show on the USA Network that premiered on October 28, 2014. Later she played the role in the role of Hannah Wyland in Quantico, an ABC thriller.
